We are honored to welcome Valorie Lurry as one of our newest authors.

Valorie’s forthcoming nonfiction work is a powerful and deeply personal narrative rooted in resilience, truth, and the long journey of making meaning from trauma experienced in early adolescence. Through thoughtfully compiled interviews — including reflections from family members, firsthand accounts, and her own perspective — this project seeks not only to tell a story, but to illuminate the lasting impact of trauma and the courage required to confront it.

From our earliest conversations, it was clear that Valorie’s story carries a purpose beyond the page.
